The globe signifies we stand ready to assist any situation anywhere in the world we might be needed; the compass rose says you have direction in your efforts to assist those in need. |

| * Tango members are encouraged to participate, but will need to complete their Trial Service and be advanced to regular membership before applying for a pin. Trial Service Participation time will count. Due to the work and commitment involved with the Trail Service Basic Procedures training, Tangos are encouraged to wait until they complete that training before taking on the FEMA courses. |
| ** Time
frames are based on full months prior to the month you apply for your
pin. *** If you took FEMA course 195 between 2001 and August 2006 and received the FEMA certificate for it, it can be used in place of courses 100 and 200. However, it is recommended you take 100 and 200. |
| Info on how to apply for your pin can be found under ECOM Pin on the ECOM page |
