About this Page


It is only with the help and support of a great many people that this web site exists.  As much as possible the individual contributions of members and staff is noted within the various pages.  Some contributions were fairly minor, but nonetheless very significant.  I apologize to anyone who has contributed and is not specifically recognized.

Major contributions, without which this web site would not be possible include:

The directors in Region Ten:  AS0, GAB, GAO, GBP, and GCC.

Security
There is a public section (main page) and a Members Only secure area.  Both sites operate from the National NMC MARS web server. The security on the server is high.  There are strong protections to help keep each member's personal and private information within the requirements of NTP-8 (series), the Privacy Act, and U.S. Navy regulations.

Reliability
Every effort is made to provide links from the Region Ten web site to reliable sites with valid information.  However, the Dept of Defense, the Navy, and Navy-Marine Corps MARS do not accept responsibility for inaccuracies contained on sites not under their direct authority and control. Use of any information linked from this web site is the sole responsibility of the person using the information.

Some linked sites contain advertising.  MARS and the U.S. Navy have no control over such advertising.  The linked info is considered important to the support of the MARS mission.  A link from any MARS page to a site that displays advertising does not constitute an endorsement, in any degree, by The Dept of Defense, the Navy, or Navy-Marine Corps MARS of such advertised products or services unless specifically stated in writing from cognizant authority within DoD, the U.S. Navy, or the MARS structure.
