| The
method of reporting time participating in MARS ALE activity is
as follows. A Monthly Frequency Usage Report is sent by the MARS ALE participating member to the state THREE. The state THREE totals the time by each frequency and prepares a Frequency Usage Report to go to the Region THREE. The next point is important. The state THREE needs to ensure that no more than 24 hours per day is reported for each ALE frequency even though the total hours added up as reported by each member may exceed 24. In the example member report shown below, one station uses 8 frequencies 24 hours each day of the month. That alone accounts for all the hours for the month. Some states THREEs use an Excel spreadsheet to sort and track this information. The information assembled is entered in the normal THREE frequency use report format following the normal net use totals as a separate entry. The frequency use reporting system continues as the region THREE forwards the summary report of all states in the region to the area THREE. An example of a member's report can be found on the Region Ten Forms Area. IMPORTANT: It is the time that the frequency is used that is reported to the THREE. A member's hours of participation is reported IAW the normal Region 10 PARTREPOTHER message on a monthly basis to our region THIRTEEN. |
