Once you have met all the training requirements, you will begin the process of dropping your tango from your NAVYMARS callsign. While the last step in this process is usually serving as NECOS for four times, this may vary depending on a number of factors. When you successfully complete your NECOS requirements however, NNN0GAL will indicate to you that you may now drop the 'Tango' from your callsign. Once so directed and from this point forward, you may use your callsign without the "Tango" suffix. Take pride in knowing that you have met the requirements in order to become a NAVYMARS operator. Remember however that you have met the MINIMUM requirements and your training does not end here!
